by Roland Baute Visit Date:June 8, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Nice and clean hotel just outside the old walls of Chiang Mai City. Max. 15 minutes walk or 50 baht tuktuk ride to the Night Market. Sunday market at only 200 meters. Comfortable and clean rooms. Safety deposit boxes free at reception but the hotel charges 102 baht per day if you use the ones in the room which is a bit odd for a 4-star hotel. Very friendly staff. Can recommend and will stay again." |

by Fung Tsz Kan Visit Date:April 2, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Hotel is at a good location. Every taxi driver knows the hotel so there is no difficulty to come to the hotel. Room is big, clean and tidy. Breakfast is delicious. Overall, Good." |
by Mark Rem Visit Date:March 28, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Although the room is acceptable, the foyer looks much better than the hotel actually is. The WiFi is expensive and not free. To use the in-room safe, they charge you separately, per day. The lobby has a mosquito issue because of fountains inside. The pool sucks. Would I stay there again? Probably not." |

by Gareth Leow Jia Hui Visit Date:November 10, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Front desk were unfriendly. Swimming pools were dirty and extremely cold, only has sun in the morning. Breakfast is limited. However, getting transport is easy as it faces a main road. It is also next to the Tape weekend market. Rooms were pretty good in size for that price. I had a deluxe room and overall I will rate it 3 stars." |
by Jan McLoughlin Visit Date:October 23, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "All good except for charges on wifi use. We used wifi at nearby coffee shops for the price of a drink. Free wifi in room for guests would be an added attraction." |

March 25, 2009 by Mrs Priya Andreas Visit Date:March 19, 2009 "We travelled up from Bangkok and booked our first night in Chaing Mai at the Amora hotel for £31/night. This wasn t the cheapest hotel available but it was rated as a 4* so thought that we would treat ourselves whilst travelling around Asia.On checking in the first disappointment was there was no free internet as the website advertised. It was available thru a purchased wifi card at a ridiculous 550b/hour (£11). The staff were friendly enough but not very accomodating over the internet. Rooms were ok, clean and of average size. Breakfast included a very good choice, everything you neeeded was in the buffet. Overall an ok hotel with little characture about it. We have since moved to a new hotel in the old city centre which I think is alot better for £20/night." |
Great as always!, March 10, 2009 by Richard Cannarella Visit Date:February 14, 2009 "A very good hotel, resonable rates, good location in the center of Chang Mai about 15 to 20min walk to the night bazzar. Breakfest good. We will stay there again." |
